Ġnien Zaylen Borġ is a beautifully completed community garden in Paola, created by Project Green in collaboration with Aġenzija Sapport to promote inclusion, wellbeing, and connection with nature. Named in memory of a young child, this 5,000 m² accessible green space offers sensory pathways, aromatic plantings, accessible play and social interaction areas, raised planters for inclusive gardening, and quiet zones for relaxation – all designed to support visitors of all abilities. Recreational facilities such as an inclusive Bocci pitch and an upgraded basketball court encourage shared use and social interaction for the wider community. With thoughtful landscaping and a sustainable irrigation system, Ġnien Zaylen Borġ provides a welcoming environment for people to relax, explore, and connect with nature in a therapeutic setting.
