Ġnien Dun Nicholas Cachia in Siġġiewi transformed an area of around 1,000m², previously earmarked for development, into a new open space for the local community. The garden commemorates Dun Nicholas Cachia, a respected priest from Siġġiewi who was active in local society and worked to modernise the Church’s communication with Maltese families. Developed in collaboration with the Siġġiewi Local Council, the project follows sustainable landscaping principles, including the reuse of soil found on site, pollinator-friendly planting, CCTV, and solar-powered bollards. The space now offers nearby residents a quiet, accessible place to meet, rest, and enjoy the outdoors.
