Madonna tal-Vitorja Garden transformed a 2,250 square metre tarmacked area in Pembroke into an accessible green space designed for relaxation and recreation. The project included new paving, pathways, benches, fencing, solar-powered lighting, and the reuse of an existing reservoir for sustainable irrigation. Environmental interventions included the removal of invasive species, the reuse of soil on site, and the incorporation of recycled stone blocks for structural works. The garden now features 67 trees, including a six-metre, 4,000kg carob tree as its central landmark, together with approximately 655 shrubs, creating a greener and more welcoming environment for the community.
