The toddler area at Sant’Antnin Family Park regenerated a run-down former dog park into a dedicated play space designed specifically for young children. The project introduced sensory and nature-based play elements, including a wooden mud kitchen, playhouse, recycled tyre features, and a sensory path, encouraging exploration, creativity, and early childhood development. Accessibility was improved through an exposed aggregate pathway, while the surrounding planting of trees and herbaceous shrubs helped soften the space and create a more welcoming environment for families. The intervention forms part of the wider effort to make public parks more inclusive, engaging, and suitable for different age groups.
