Built on land previously earmarked for development, Ġnien il-Koppin transformed 1,600 square metres in Kirkop into a sustainable community garden. The project includes pathways made from recyclable materials, a viewing platform, aromatic herb areas, children’s play equipment, and biodiversity features such as an insect hotel. With 55 mature trees, indigenous planting, solar-powered systems, and a rainwater reservoir supporting irrigation, the garden was designed to create a greener and healthier space for the community.
