Father Dijonisju Mintoff’s vision for a peaceful space was realised with the regeneration of the Peace Lab Garden, spanning 2,000 square metres. Located in Żurrieq, this garden serves as a tranquil retreat for visitors. The project focused on enhancing accessibility, preserving biodiversity, and improving safety with new lighting and pathways. The installation of picnic benches, children’s play equipment, and sustainable elements ensures the garden remains a recreational, community-focused space. The garden stands as a lasting symbol of peace, formerly a military site.
